SL MKIII: FIRST REACTIONS

SL MkIII is a centrepiece for connection and collaboration and we wanted this to be the theme for our SL MkIII preview day. We wanted to know the thoughts of some of our favourite synth/Ableton/electronic/tech YouTubers who immerse themselves in this world day in, day out, so invited them down to Tileyard Studios in Kings Cross to spend a day with the product team behind SL MkIII. We were joined by Rachel Collier, Loopop, DivKid Ben, Bo Beats and Cuckoo, each provided with their own SL MkIII. It was a day to learn the tricks of the controller, ask any questions, have a play… and (probably most importantly) eat pizza.

You can get a little glimpse of how that day went here!

Check out the videos from those that joined us in London and get some extra insight into what they thought about SL MkIII.

Rachel Collier dropped a video last week of her covering Time After Time

"I’ve had a lot of fun just making music with it, it’s tied my studio together"

"The SL MkIII does indeed change the game for controllers and sets a new benchmark for which future controllers will be judged"

"If you’re like me and enjoy having a keyboard front and centre but you do like grid-based workflow or step-sequence workflow, this is just it. It’s almost the perfect sequencer for your hardware-synth setup"
