Fixes:

- Fixed Automap asking for password on launch when running in OSX. It will only ask once after installing.

- Fixed potential crash when running new installs on OSX 10.6 or 10.7

- Fixed permissions with VST folders on OSX Lion by adding 'Installer Helper' after installation.

- Fixed Automap crashing Logic's AU 32 bit Bridge.

- Fixed missing screenshot for Logic and Remote SL setup guide.

- Fixed VST plug-ins not loading when downgrading version of Automap on Windows

- Fixed VST plugins requiring to be re-enabled when updating Automap on Windows. Automap un-installer will now only run when installing from version 3.x to 4.x.

- Fixed potential crash when disabling VST3 plug-ins on Windows.

- Improved Ableton Live setup procedures and guides for Nocturn, Nocturn Keyboard and Ultranova.

- Improved Ableton Live setup procedure and guides for Impulse.

- Removed plug-ins enabling for Impulse when using Ableton Live in setup wizard.

- Added notification message when trying to use an Automap 'thing' with Impulse when it is used under Ableton Live control surface.

Known issues:

- Ableton Live mapping does not reload if Midi channel 1 is already in use. This only affects Nocturn/Nocturn Keyboard/Ultranova, restarting the hardware will solve this.

 

Notes:

- Windows users upgrading from 4.0 are advised to disable and re-enable your VST plug-ins after the installation to ensure you have the latest Plug-In wrapper.

- Users are advised not to downgrade to an earlier version after installing this version.

- Pro Tools 9 users upgrading to version 10 are advised to disable their RTAS plug-ins first in Automap before uninstalling Pro Tools 9 and installing version 10.

It is recommended that users reboot their computer after the installation.

IMPORTANT:
+ The Waves 8 features are not fully implemented, Waves 8 users are not advised to install this beta.
+ Logic users who previously used 'Automap Logic Mixer' should go to Logic > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Rebuild Defaults, to update Logic's mixer settings.

Remote SL Compact 4.2.03 release notes:
+ fixed keyboard sensing on some units

Known issues:
+ Some Cubase VST3 mappings may have unusual button types.
+ Presonus Studio One will not load automap wrapped VST3 plug-ins.
+ VST plug-in in Live with SL hardware will only display parameter name if plug-in GUI not instantiated.
+ Certain plug-ins running 32 bit bridge in Logic 9 may not appear as wrapped.
+ For Remote SL & Remote Zero SL users, the sustain pedal, expression pedal, drum pads & XY pad have fixed CC assignments to the designated automap MIDI output port
+ Fabfilter VST3 plug-in not recognised in certain Windows systems.
+ Waves H-delay, Morphoder, GRT Amp, GTR Stomp 2,4,6 and GTR ToolRack VST3 will crash upon instantiating if wrapped
+ Waves Morphoder appears twice in Plug-In Manager and cannot be uncheck after both version has been wrapped.
+ Automation do not write from hardware on Waves 8 AU and RTAS format
+ Cannot Learn Waves 8 AU in Live
+ Some buttons may not be translated properly to the UltraNova encoders.
+ Midi Client may crash upon quitting Automap after quitting Logic

OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard - PPC & Intel) & 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard - Intel only).

+ Windows:
XP SP3 32 bit, Vista 32 bit, Win7 32 bit & Win7 64 bit

System no longer supported:
OSX 10.4 (Tiger) will NOT be supported anymore. It is recommended that OSX 10.4 users carry on using Automap 3.4.1.

A public beta version of the template editor for the ReMOTE SL MK2 (and ZeRO SL MK2) is now available form the Novation beta site.

This can be used to easily create advanced mode templates for the ReMOTE SL MK2 controllers and send them to and from the hardware.
