Barry Carew and Novation Dicers

After party rocking clubs and tours world wide for the last 13 years Barry Carew has not only made himself a well known club DJ but also one of the most sought after corporate DJ's in the game. "The proof is in the caliber of gigs, I am so blessed to work with so many companies and products", Barry Carew say's in a recent interview when asked about being ranked as one of the top earning DJ's in the United States. "I don't think I have ever played a gig and not had that company or club invite me back for there next round of shows".
Call it what you want but being one of the most connected DJ's in the game today Barry Carew can always be found at events like the 2011 Super Bowl in Dallas, Texas. That’s the spot where Barry Carew will be the main DJ not only for Bud Light Hotel (an annual exclusive week of events in each Super Bowl city) but will be DJing along side of artists like Kesha, Nelly, Pitbull, Snoop Dogg, The Fray, Lifehouse, Flo-rida, and Warren-G to name a few. He also will be showcasing his diversity in music on nights when he takes the stage playing a mash up mix of music for Dierks Bentley and Jack Ingram two huge country/rock groups. But the Super Bowl madness does not stop their, Barry Carew will be the Host and DJ for the Official Playboy party at The Budlight Hotel.
With an onslaught of shows and busy touring schedule we asked Barry Carew what is the one thing that he always carries with him to every show? His answer was simple, "Dicer by Novation". Barry Carew says, "This is the one product I refuse to play without now, it is my direct extension of my laptop controls now for Serato. I do not beat my keys up anymore and I have found so many great techniques and tricks that I never had before in my arsenal. When the product was first coming out DJ Skribble and I just had to have it and the first day we got it I said, "Why didn't this come out sooner"! Not having to take my hands away from the turntables makes the cuts, effects, and cue sampling flawless and fun! If you have not tried the Dicer or are scared of change just trust me it is worth it! You will find so many ways to use this! From hot cue's in songs to rolling out of a song while filtering down you will be amazed what your mixes will sound like! All the time people think my live CD's are brought into our studio and effected or edited and they are not, its just my Dicers putting in work!"
